Key Insight:
Sundays Gather the Church, Mondays Send the Church
Are entrepreneurs "second-tier" believers just because they don't hold a microphone on Sundays?
For too long, the church has celebrated the preacher while minimizing the business owner. But biblical history paints a vastly different picture: wealth creation, business strategy, and global trade are high-level spiritual assignments.
We have mistakenly divided the world into the "sacred" and the "secular." If you are called to preach, you are celebrated. But what about the builder? What about the investor? What about the CEO? It is time to validate the spiritual calling of the entrepreneur.
THE POWER OF PROVISION
SOLVE PROBLEMS GENERATE WEALTH FUND THE VISION EXPAND THE KINGDOM
The Kingdom doesn't just move on preaching.
The Spiritual Mandate of Business
For generations, the church has sent a subtle message to entrepreneurs: "Just be a good person, run your business, and tithe to support the 'real' ministry." This mindset diminishes the calling of the business owner.
Not Second-Tier Believers
Business owners, investors, and strategists are not less spiritual than pastors. God does not view building a company as "secular work" while viewing preaching as "sacred work." If you are building a business with integrity, you are actively participating in a divine assignment.
God Anoints Creators
God doesn't just call people to the pulpit; He positions people in the marketplace. He anoints strategists, innovators, and leaders to create systems, manage resources, and build economies that bless humanity.
When you read the Book of Acts, you see that the explosive growth of the early church was not just fueled by great preaching—it was backed by great enterprise.
Lydia: The Global Trader
Consider Lydia. She wasn’t running a ministry team; she was a high-level businesswoman in global trade, dealing in luxury purple cloth. She managed resources, generated wealth, and created opportunity.
Funding the Vision
What did Lydia do with her wealth? She used what she built in the marketplace to fund the Kingdom in the earth. As Dr. Dave Martin points out: "The Kingdom doesn't just move on preaching; it moves on provision." God trusted Lydia with resources because she understood her assignment.
If you are an entrepreneur, your primary spiritual calling is not just to make money—it is to solve problems.
Money is a Reward
Money is not a mystery, and it is certainly not evil. Money is simply a reward for solving a problem. If you want to increase your wealth, you must increase the magnitude of the problems you are willing to solve for others.
God Sends Builders
When systems are down, walls are broken, and people are vulnerable, God doesn't always send a preacher. Often, He sends a contractor, a strategist, or a business owner. Sometimes the most spiritual thing you can do is fix what is broken.
