If you do not understand the accurate concept of money, you will live an insecure life. It is not just a medium of exchange; it is a mechanism for time redemption and a tool for efficiency.
The Architecture of Wealth
Money is more than just a system of transactions. To truly understand it, you must understand three things about how God designed this system:
- 1. Time: The finite resource of life.
- 2. The Reward System: How the kingdom validates value.
- 3. The Concept of Destiny: The purpose you are funded to fulfill.
If you miss these, you will never truly master money.
The Primary Assignment
The primary assignment of money is time redemption and efficiency. Money is a tool to make you efficient. If you claim to have money but cannot use it to redeem time, you are not using it well.
"I hate poverty not because it's from the devil. I hate poverty because of its effects on living. It slows you down."
You don't know how efficient your life can be until you have the resources to solve problems instantly. Money is a settlement mechanism and a peacemaker.
The Danger of Delay
Wealth can come too late. There is a timing to financial help. As Apostle Joshua Selman teaches, "You are not prosperous until money comes on time."
If money arrives when the situation is already over, it is useless. "Transfer one billion dollars to the account of a dead person, and you only transfer controversy, because it will not benefit him or wake him up."
Spirituality vs. Marketplace Value
Here is a hard truth for many believers: Spirituality will never automatically translate to wealth.
Many Christians believe that piety equals prosperity, but the marketplace rewards value, not just prayer. If you are valuable, you will be rich. It is value that attracts money.
We must also address the spiritual root. Poverty is not just a lack of funds; it can be a spirit that hijacks individuals and businesses. It tears families apart and ties down destiny. We need to deal with poverty not just spiritually, but physically through work, investment, and wisdom.
