In his statement, Chivayo celebrated young comedians as "the unsung HEALERS of our Nation." He singled out Comic Elder, whose real name is Leroy Tadiwanashe Zaware, for his exceptional talent and natural humor, which recently earned him the highest recognition from President Mnangagwa at the National Youth Symposium.
"For a young comedian to make the PRESIDENT of the REPUBLIC laugh is never a small achievement !!! More importantly, His Excellency’s words that, “NDAFARA NEWE MFANA” sets you apart and ukafadza President, neniwo unenge wandifadza and wafadza NYIKA YESE !!!!"

As a token of appreciation, Chivayo instructed the comedian to see his lawyer, Sikhumbuzo Mpofu, to collect US$150,000 in cash. The funds are designated for Comic Elder to "buy yourself a decent HOUSE in any area of your choice," with flexible arrangements for the purchase.

Chivayo concluded his message by framing the gesture as an inspiration for all young people in Zimbabwe. He wrote:
