God's purpose was not for us to have all things in common. His desire was for us to be diverse with one thing in common - HIM. 

You have to distance yourself from things and people that seek to neutralize your individuality and rob you of who God has called you to be. You are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14) and God has made no mistake in the manner in which you were designed.

We don't have to look like each other to love each other. Our unique and individual makeup is what attracts us to one another. All He is looking for His children to have in common is an ability to recognize who He is.

No matter what colour, creed, economic status, educational background - Do you know He is the King of Kings and Lord of Lords (Revelation 19:16)? Have you purposed it in your mind to praise Him with your whole heart & worship Him in spirit and truth (Psalm 86:12; John 4:24)?
Is His infallible, ineffable Word hidden in your heart (Psalm 119:11)?

Have you studied to show yourself approved and ready to go ye into the world and preach the gospel (Matthew 16:15)? Seek to find diversity in your brothers & sisters in Christ.

Just be sure your quest for community does npt destroy your individuality.
