God Won’t Give You More Than You Can Handle?

I have been approached by many individuals who have gone through a season of serious challenges and they have told me Reverend Oudney; I do no think I can endure the challenges any more.

They tell me that they are about to give up and if the challenges that they are facing continue - they will give up.

I WANT TO SHOCK YOU. Giving up is cowardice. Sinning to get out of a corner is a sign of weakness. True strength is saying no to sin. When you sin or steal to get yourself out of a rut - you are no better than a corward.

The bible is clear in this when it says - The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, he will show you a way out so that you can endure. 1 Corinthians 10:13 - New Living Translation.
God Won’t Give You More Than You Can Handle
The next time you are facing any form of challenges and tribulations just understand that there is:

1. No challenge that is allowed into your life without God knowing it; and also know that every challenge is intended to be of benefit to you.
- This means never see God as your enemy. Trust in him at all times. The next time a sexy woman offers you sex... RESIST. Say not. Do not fall into sin and say I could not help it and if God did not want me to fall into the sin, he should have protected me. Remember that if challenges come - you have the power to resist and say no. Do not give into sin and then blame it on God. The biblical Joseph ran away.
2. No challenge that is allowed into your life to harm you or cause you to break. God loves you so much that he will never allow you to be tested beyond your ability to endure, resist the devil and overcome temptations.
- So the next time the devil bring a challenge in your life, the first thing you have to do is to ask the challenge to show you its passport and visa. If the challenge does not have legal documents to be in your life rebuke it in the name of Jesus.

- The next time you are going through financial challenges; do not steal. Keep your trust and faith in the LORD. Even if the shopkeeper gives you change that is more than what you used to buy; have the integrity to return the extra change. That is strength and not weakness. Strength lies in saying no to sin as an alternative to get you out of a challenge.

3. You are more powerful that you think and when you are not confronted by challenging time you grow weak. So the midst of the challenges learn to give thanks to God. Thank God for the challenges. Remember a tree gets stronger when the wind blows. The weakest trees are those that never face the wind.

Not Being Tempted Beyond Our Ability: It is very important to understand a couple of things: God does not tempt anyone. James 1:13 emphatically states, “Let no one say when he is tempted, ‘I am being tempted by God,’ for God cannot be tempted with evil, and he himself tempts no one.” While God does not tempt us, He does, in his sovereignty, permit or according to New Living Translation allow us to be tempted.

For any woman or man who is going through tough and trying times, I want to declare that the LORD will be your strength in the name of Jesus so arise and fight.
