In Matthew 13 Jesus says the Kingdom of Heaven is like a man who planted good seed in his field. Later he says the field is the world, and that the good seed are the sons of the Kingdom, planted in the field of the world by the Son of Man.

If we hear the message of the Kingdom and it is planted in good soil and if we understand it, it can produce 30, 60 and even 100 fold, because we actually then become the seed - the sons of the Kingdom planted in the field of the world to sprout and produce fruit and multiply.

Notice the Scripture does not speak of the good seed being planted in the church and producing and multiplying in the church. Many have misapplied the understanding of this teaching of Jesus. Yes, in a sense we are planted in the house of the Lord. We can find Scriptures for that.

But here, Jesus specifically speaks of the sons of the Kingdom planted into the field of the world to produce a harvest. The harvest is not produced in the church - it is produced in the world. The church can be a combine harvester to help bring in the harvest. But production, growth and multiplication takes place in the field.

We are the good seed - the sons of the Kingdom. May we produce 30, 60 and even 100 fold as we are fruitful for the King.
