The principle of giving is personal, it is a personal decision. if you want to change your financial life you need to change your principle of giving. Abraham is one great example of giving, he was willing to give God his best. It was a difficult decision to make for him to give his son, his one and only son. When you are giving any one some thing ensure that you give your best, something that you love the most. Don't use other people as dumping grounds where you dump the things you no longer want in the name of giving. If you want the best you should ensure you give the best.

Your environment or those around you might not support you but you still need to obey the voice of God whether or not it makes sense. If God instructs you to give give according to his instruction lest you robe yourself of your blessing that you were supposed to receive as a result of your giving. You should give sacrificially in order for you to give receive abundantly.
