Sermon: A new way
Scripture: Numbers 21 vs 8
8 The LORD said to Moses, “Make a snake and put it up on a pole; anyone who is bitten can look at it and live.” 9 So Moses made a bronze snake and put it up on a pole. Then when anyone was bitten by a snake and looked at the bronze snake, they lived.
2 Kings 18:4
4 He removed the high places, smashed the sacred stones and cut down the Asherah poles. He broke into pieces the bronze snake Moses had made, for up to that time the Israelites had been burning incense to it. (It was called Nehushtan.[b])

God was telling Moses that to solve the snake problem he had to have another snake. Every problem must be solved with a higher solution. God told Moses that it must be a different snake such that anyone who looks at it must be healed. No matter it looks like there is no solution take time to find the solution. Moses was solving a problem of that time. There was no cure than to look at the snake the snake must have had high since it was the solution.
Children of Israel started to believe in the snake, they started to worship that snake because they had experienced the power in it. They started burning incense to the snake and they went for long doing that. There are things brought to our tables just for that time to solve the prevailing problem at the time. The problem with us is we will get programmed to that thing and take it as a permanent solution. Time is not on our side we have to change the way we look at things.
There are projects which used to make people prosper some years back but not today they are no longer applicable now. The problem is we are still focusing on the snake of Moses. We have to change our focus and think of something that will help us today. There are people still doing old projects.
For you to be rich, to succeed or survive you have to approach now by now. Go back to your table tonight and ask yourself am i not still focusing on the snake of Moses. This era is for doing business using email address so do not find yourself doing business the old way because it will not help you. Things are changing every day due to technology. We need to move with time.
These days if you do not have a website you are not able to do business internationally because there is no way business people are going to communicate with you over a cellphone. There is no way you can change your level you start thinking in a bigger way. We are reaching an era where all business will be done online.
You need to get tired of doing things the old way. We need a solution of now. We want to reload a new software and your old thinking ways must go. The anointing of today must force your old ways to go. We need a new thinking in your life it does not matter your age but I want you to change right now.
