As we witness the unimaginable heartache of Mr. Ronald Mujuru—who lost his wife and five children in a single, tragic moment—we are reminded that true leadership and Kingdom Wealth are not found in balance sheets. They are measured by our collective capacity to mobilize comfort, dignity, and radical empathy in the face of absolute devastation. In times of national mourning in Zimbabwe, our strength lies in how we support the broken among us.

The family was traveling to Zvishavane for a church conference when their vehicle was involved in a fatal collision with a truck driven by Proof Mative (59) at the 246km peg along the Harare-Masvingo Highway.

Hundreds gathered in Chikomba District to witness the deeply emotional burial. Chief Mutekedza made a profound apostolic decree to the community: "I call upon the society to be there for him. Let us give him all the support he deserves."
As a Brand Architect, I continuously emphasize the importance of digital stewardship. Transport and Infrastructural Development Minister, Felix Mhona, alongside Police Commissioner Paul Nyathi, rightly condemned the systemic failure of empathy displayed by onlookers.

Minister Mhona stated: “It’s disheartening that some people rush to post images from accident scenes... Imagine having to learn of the death of your loved one on social media. This is wrong.” True leadership protects dignity; it does not exploit pain for digital traction.

Commissioner Nyathi warned that the law will take its course against those filming victims rather than administering first aid. He also highlighted the broader crisis, noting 13 lives lost across two fatal crashes during that same window, urging strict adherence to hazard protocols.

A $130,000 Provision of Comfort
Recognizing the deep emotional and financial void left by the tragedy, Chivayo gifted Ronald Mujuru a brand-new 2026 Toyota Fortuner (valued at $80,000) and an additional $50,000 in cash to assist in the agonizing rebuilding process.
The Tradition of "Chema"
Chivayo made it clear this was not a PR stunt, but a traditional act of "chema" (shared grief). He acknowledged that no amount of money could replace a family, but as a steward of wealth, he aimed to ease the worldly burdens on a brother enduring an unthinkable trial.
