The man who played the role of Monica’s father in the movie MONICA, produced by Uche Montana, is, without exaggeration, one of the weakest and most spineless characters I have seen on screen in a long time. A completely toothless man.
Honestly, pray never to have a husband or a father like that. This is the kind of man who cannot lead his own family to save his life.

Watching this movie, I became genuinely upset at some point because of how absolutely pathetic his character was. It is a brilliant cinematic execution that forces us to look at the devastating consequences of absent leadership in the home.
The Cost of False Peace
When silence is chosen over responsibility.
This is a man who cannot say a word and stand firmly by it simply because he is desperate to maintain "peace." And that so-called peace comes at the ultimate cost of his dignity, authority, and responsibility as a father and husband. He trades his voice for a quiet house, but in doing so, he loses the house entirely.
Whatever his wife says or does, he blindly stands by it, even when it is blatantly obvious that he does not agree. There is no backbone. No leadership. No courage. Just pure, unadulterated weakness masking itself as marital support.
Present, Yet Completely Absent
A physical presence devoid of actual leadership.
This is the type of father who is practically absent even when he is physically present in the room. He is a man who refuses to take responsibility and cannot call his household to order. He is reduced to a spineless puppy who cannot tame the toxic excesses unfolding in his own home.
A man who cannot say YES or NO and ensure that everyone in his house respects it has no business being called the head of the family. Sadly, men like this make it incredibly easy for people to trample on them and actively exploit their silence.
The Shifted Dynamics
In that house, the roles were completely reversed. His wife was clearly the one wearing the trousers while he reduced himself to something less than the man of the house. The hierarchy was shattered, and the resulting chaos was honestly painful to watch.
The Verdict: 9/10
Like I said earlier, PRAY not to marry a man like Monica's father. The character is a masterclass in how not to run a home, and the frustration it evokes from the audience is proof of the film's effectiveness.
Amazing movie by the way. I give it a solid 9/10. It is a necessary mirror reflecting the silent disasters brewing in modern homes under the guise of "keeping the peace."
