Are they authentic? Do their words and actions match? Are they a person of their word? Given the facts so far, can you honestly trust them? Haven’t you been over-justifying them a little and fantasising what you wish the reality could have been?
Examining Your Inner Circle
Are they really your kind of people? Do you enjoy their company or are you only tolerating them? Can you still adore them even when they become a little annoying? Will you stand it when they become corny at times? Do you understand their background when they sound dumb at times?
Do you honestly care about them as much as they care about you? Can they count on you as much as you count on them? Do you as much lose sleep over them as they do for you?

Most times, our souls know exactly where they belong. That is how spiritual God made us to be. Your truth may not apply for others, it may not be traditional, but our souls, our hearts pick from the spiritual and settle beyond reason for what resonates with us in particular. That is why we usually fall in love with certain people, places, and circumstances for no reason.
Dig deep and answer these and many more raw and difficult life questions, then let it flow. As the scripture says:
“For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.”
