On December 16 the Institute of Corporate Directors of Zimbabwe (ICDZ) held its 2nd Corporate Honours Awards Ceremony at the Rainbow Towers Hotel under the theme “Honouring leadership Excellence in Challenging Times of Covid- 19.
This virtual event was graced by a lot of big names in the private and public sectors of the economy. The welcome address was done via Zoom by Debra Brown — President and CEO of Governance Solutions and Professional Director, Canada and another address to the delegates was done by Ashraf Gama El Dine the Chief Executive Officer of Hawkamah Institute of Corporate Governance Dubai.
The Institute of Corporate Directors Zimbabwe (ICDZ) is supported by the Professional Director Canada, Hawkamah Institute of Corporate Governance Dubai and the Institute of Corporate Governance Zimbabwe.
ICDZ educates, trains, leads and provides information on the latest skills, trends, ideas and other know-how in corporate governance to all Zimbabwean Leaders in the private and public as well as profit and nonprofit sectors.
It empowers leaders with the best leadership and corporate governance skills and helps boards strengthen investor trust and public confidence by ensuring today’s directors are well prepared for tomorrow’s dynamic challenges.
Each year, ICDZ recognises independent corporate directors of public, private and non-profit boards who have made valuable contributions to the boards on which they serve, as well as entire boards that have significantly protected or enhanced stakeholder value.
