Toward Convergence - The Essence of Altitude Training and Knowing The Times

God is going to weave together your talents, gifts, skills, compassion, history, passion, character, mistakes, errors into a tapestry of the garment of favour that is going to clothe you in the next season and latter years and days of your life.

Finding a role the pays you to do what you love to do and are called and designed to do by God.

Did you know the statistics reveal that the average age of finding the convergent life happens after the age 50?

The highest period of contribution happens between 60 and 70 years of age. This can only be exceeded by the age of 70 years to 80 years depending on your health.

- So, your highest contribution on earth will happen after you are 50 years.
- If you make it into 80 years plus, God will bless you into the phase of becoming a living legend, where you will be a fountain of wisdom and will be leaving a lasting legacy.

- The ages between 70 years to 80 years are called Legacy Years ... but how you take care of your body as a youth will determine the state of your body in those years.

The legacy years happens when you are in your 80s and are past the age of activity - but God keeps you alive. God keeps you alive so that you can be a source of motivation to the younger generation.

God in these years will keep you alive as a model of possibility to the next generation. In those years people will make pilgrimages to you and sit down under your feet to derive wisdom, encouragement and empowerment.

Knowing the above chronology of convergence and fulfilment will help you prepare through continuous periods and years of altitude training.

What is altitude training? When the sporting medicine world refers to “high altitude” it generally means 7,000 to 8,000 feet above sea level or higher. Low altitude is approximately 4,000 feet above sea level or lower.

In high-altitude environments, a person draws in less oxygen per breath than they would at lower altitudes. That means each breath will deliver less oxygen to your muscles. This may sound like a negative thing, but living in higher altitudes and getting used to breathing “thinner” air can enhance elite athletes’ athletic performance in competitions at a lower altitude.
During workouts at high altitude, athletes feel like they are putting forth more effort to perform as well as they do closer to sea level. The increased rate of perceived exertion is caused by altitude-induced hypoxia, which is a decrease in the amount of oxygen being delivered to the muscles to burn fuel and create energy.

As elite athletes acclimate to high altitude, they acquire more red blood cells which allow their blood to carry more oxygen. When they compete at lower altitudes, they get a natural boost to the muscles when additional oxygen is available.

This blood expanding effect can enhance performance in elite athletes by 1 to 2 percent. While that sounds like a tiny improvement, it can be the difference between missing the final cut for a competitive team and earning a medal.

The Important Message: Do not spend your years waiting for the great break, rather, spend your years aiming toward mastery by functioning in the high altitude niches. Make a commitment to finding your niche, possess it and work hard to become a thought leader in that area. At this moment, you might not be recognised, but might be in the prison-like Joseph.

Whilst in this prison place, do not sit down and wait; activate grace.

Prophetic Prayer: May God give you the grace and anointing to understand the times of your life, the times of this nation and the time of this continent that you may realign yourself with God prophetic times and know what you ought to do.

Scripture: Genesis 41:37-44 and 1 Chronicles 12:32
