THIS mum loves her little daughter so much that she let armed thugs rape her in order to spare her girl. It happened when seven local men whom she knows broke into her home in Inanda, north of Durban.
The 30-year-old woman is thankful her child didn’t wake up and see five of them gang rape her.
“I might be HIV-positive after the girlfriend of one of them told me he was HIV-positive,” she said.
“Only two were arrested.”The woman said the thugs also stole appliances.
“While one was poking me at the back the other made me suck his 4-5,” said the woman.
She said they broke into the main house where her sick mother was sleeping.
“They realised that my mother couldn’t walk and they dragged her to the floor before turning to my back room.
“They pointed a gun at me and told me to open up.
“They forced me to choose whether I would satisfy their lust or my little daughter,” she said.
The woman’s 50-year-old mother said she heard her daughter scream for help but she could do nothing as she had a broken leg.
She said: “I couldn’t even crawl to find help for her.
“After they left she went out and woke up three neighbours for help. She couldn’t walk properly.”
Major Thulani Zwane said two suspects, aged 21 and 22, were arrested for rape and would appear in the Ntuzuma Magistrates Court on Wednesday.
