Sermon: Protect the seed of your testimony against birds of the air

Genesis.3:1[NKJV]
3 Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said to the woman, “Has God indeed said, ‘You shall not eat of every tree of the garden?”
Reference scriptures:
Isaiah.55:9-11[NKJV]

9 “For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are My ways higher than your ways,
And My thoughts than your thoughts.
10 “For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven,
And do not return there,
But water the earth,
And make it bring forth and bud,
That it may give seed to the sower
And bread to the eater,
11 So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth;
It shall not return to Me void,
But it shall accomplish what I please,
And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.

God created the first man and placed them in the Garden of Eden under instruction. There were things they were told to do and not to do. They were instructed not to touch or eat fruit from the tree at the middle of the garden. It was strategically placed there in an effort to avoid confusion.

Sermon: Protect the seed of your testimony against birds of the air
There came a time when another word was spoken to them. A word is a seed and when seed reaches the ground and the conditions there are favorable it geminates. In the book of Mark the word is the seed. The devil came as a snake and planted another seed in Adam and Eve. The fruit looked so good to Eve and this only came after they saw the fruit.

Declarations are being made on a daily basis and blessings are being released into people’s lives but the problem is that another seed is being planted which is contrary to the declarations. You should be careful which seed geminates in your life because it determines your end.

You might lose your testimony because there are too many birds and preachers in your life. Birds might be the ones robbing you and your testimony. If you want your life to change forever you need to govern and control the people who speak into your life. Adam and Eve didn’t know that they were naked until a certain word was spoken into their life. It is the same with our lives too many words bring in confusion and might end in one losing their testimony.

You must be careful who speaks into your life and you should ensure that the spoken word yield fruitful results in your life. You should have only one preacher in your life. Whatever you are forbidden to do is exactly what you find yourself do. The devil is fully aware of that fact and he will throw in another word that will take away your testimony.

The people around you even though they are your friends they can either make you or break you. It is a choice you succeed or fail in life. You need to make wise choices.

You might have heard the sermon or received declarations during the service but as soon as you step out birds of prey will try to take away what you received through gossip on platforms like Whatsapp. If football was our God most people would be in heaven. If one thing is repeated several times it gains entry into one’s system and ends up on ones lips and affects your end. You will become a den of confusion because you take all in all you hear.

Miriam was struck by leprosy simply because she spoke against Moses’ marriage, learn to keep quiet and not comment on matters that do not concern you. The golden question is, “who told you that you are naked?”

Medically certain diseases like cancer have no cure and once one is diagnosed with it automatically they will succumb to it but the bible says God heals all diseases according to Psalms.103:3. When one is presented with such a disease they need to focus on what God says not death like what the world says.

Your mind should also be occupied by things that better your life and are the things you watch and hear. Whatever you spend the day thinking or watching determines your future
.
You should reach a point where you do not allow people to control your mind. Even if it means ridding yourself off certain friends. You should not allow yourself to be controlled by the circumstances around you for example, the environment you live in. The moment you choose what will be spoken into your life and who speaks into your life then you will succeed.

Who told you that you are naked? Who planted that seed of failure in you? You need to stay focused and not allow simple things to push you away from your testimony and destiny. The devil’s first attempt in preventing your testimony is to stop you from coming to church. He throws in financial problems, visitors at the time of service and phone calls among other things to stop your testimony.

He might even throw in gossip to delete your testimony. The devil also brings in worry and frustration because he knows that a worried heart does not receive. Every attack comes in different ways but you need to guard your heart jealously.

The devil tries his best shots to frustrate you and rob you of everything you should have received from God. God is ready to grant you all the desires of your heart but it is your duty to ensure that the devil does not rob you of these things.

When Jesus was tempted he was offered the things that he wanted most at that time but he remained focused, it should be the same with us if we are to come out victorious. There is no special case, God is a specialist of impossibilities. You have to position yourself to receive.

Your greatest enemy is the person who brings in gossip to you. These are the birds that come to take away your seed and should be avoided at all cost.

We give all glory to God!
