Scripture: Mark.5:21:28[NKJV]
21 Now when Jesus had crossed over again by boat to the other side, a great multitude gathered to Him; and He was by the sea. 22 And behold, one of the rulers of the synagogue came, Jairus by name. And when he saw Him, he fell at His feet 23 and begged Him earnestly, saying, “My little daughter lies at the point of death. Come and lay Your hands on her, that she may be healed, and she will live.” 24 So Jesus went with him, and a great multitude followed Him and thronged Him.
25 Now a certain woman had a flow of blood for twelve years, 26 and had suffered many things from many physicians. She had spent all that she had and was no better, but rather grew worse. 27 When she heard about Jesus, she came behind Him in the crowd and touched His garment. 28 For she said, “If only I may touch His clothes, I shall be made well.”
Finding favour in the Lord by listening to a sermon is one thing whilst implementing what you would have heard is another. The word is a seed and it is like a sperm, we all become pregnant if we receive the word though the time frame might differ. When reading the bible take note that every word is a seed coming into your womb and you must become pregnant from it.
When you want to attract favour from a client you need to find their best product not your best product. You need to understand what that organisation is in need of not your thoughts. It is the same when you require the favour of God you should stay in line with His vision before you express yourself. The principles of business are the same principles that God uses. You can never change God’s plan but you need to change and fit in God’s mind because He is the supreme, the Almighty and you are the little one. We have our own plans but God is only waiting for us to follow His line and receive what is rightfully ours.
People were accustomed to following Jesus wherever He went following the testimonies they had heard from others. It is the same with us today people go to church in search of their own testimonies. There are people who are failing to convince their partners, family, neighbours or society in general as to why they come to church but the only way of showing why you do so is your testimony. In Mark.5:21-25 Jairus separated Himself from the crowd and fell at Jesus’ feet. Jairus pleaded with Jesus concerning his daughter’s ill health and in another section of scripture a centurion man asked for Jesus to speak only a word and all would be well, Jairus was believing in the laying on of hands and that is what is wanted. Your thinking (mind-set) determines your miracle.
In the book of Mark 5 vs 25 there is a story of a woman who was continuously bleeding for 12 years. When she was bleeding she was cast out of society. She had been all over in search of solution to her problem but it only got worse instead of getting better or being totally healed. She touched the hem of Jesus Christ’s garment and she immediately received her healing. Jesus Christ felt power flow out of him and he quizzed on who had touched Him and the disciples argued that it was difficult to tell because there was a huge crowd around Him. The woman thought about the action she took before implementing it and believed by so doing she was healed and it was so proving that a miracle is created by your thinking.
The disciples where always around and close to Jesus but they did not experience anything but this woman did despite being a total stranger. It is the same with the church today attending services or interacting with a Man of God does not guarantee one a miracle you need to change your mind-set in order to receive. If you take the anointing lightly your life will remain stagnant and you will not testify. You need to be hungry for you testimony before you can receive it.
The bible clearly says that the same moment the woman with the issue of blood touched the hem of Jesus’ garment He felt power flow out of Him and it was at that moment that news about Jairus’ daughters’ death was broken to them. Whenever a big testimony is about to come there always come a big test prior to it. Jesus turned to Jairus and told him “Just believe” because his child was not dead but was just sleeping. I declare that today is your day, do not look at your current situation, just believe. You might be in possession of a medical report which is telling you that you are about to die you should not stick to that principle, just believe! Listen to the principle of Jesus Christ. The problem with you is that if a problem appears bigger than you it gains control over your life. As a Christian you should know that there is no problem which is bigger than you and above all bigger than God. Fear cannot and will never solve any problem, the moment you react in the negative you attract more problems not a solution. A troubled heart is the biggest entry point for demons into your life hence you should never be troubled lest you be attacked by the enemy.
When Jesus told Jairus that His daughter was only sleeping there might have been people who laughed that off because they might have witnessed the child’s last breath but that did not stop the miracle. There are people around you who might have negative reports on your situation but they should not determine your outcome. If there is something in your life that is pushing your testimony away you must cast that thing away. Whoever you associate with must be someone with the same faith as yours so that they can encourage you not to pull you down.
After one is delivered and healed big testimonies and breakthrough must start to manifest in their life. When Jesus resurrected Jairus’ daughter by telling her to wake up he told those who were around him not to share what had happened with anyone but they could not contain it and the news spread. It is the same with your life your testimony is too big it will shake the world you will not be able to hide it.
Who said your business or situation is dead?
Do not look at your situation, just believe!
Your business is not dead,
Your marriage is not dead,
They are about to resurrect, just believe!
We give all glory to God.
