Main bible reading: Mathew 19v2-4.
M't:19:4: And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female,
M't:19:5: And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh?
M't:19:6: Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.


The Pharisees also came unto him, tempting him, and saying unto him, Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife for every cause?
Whatsoever input that you shall put in marriages, make sure that you are not there to put it asunder, it is not human`s part to cause the separation.

After Jesus said that then they questioned Him why a major Prophet Moses would allow them to atleast give a writing of divorcement for divorce. They were now trying to check who is wrong or right, Jesus or Moses and hence Confuse and convince him. Most people can easily know and confirm that some people have been divorced yet they have NOT an idea on how to tell if the people have been married in the first instance.
If you cant tell whether the couple is married then you cant tell whether they have been divorced.
M't:19:9: And I say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery.

He also said he who that marries that divorced wife commits adultery. Jesus says, if the reason of divorce was NOT Adultery then marrying another woman is also divorce. But if the divorce was called by Adultery then marrying another person is not adultery. Divorce does not begin when a man decides to leave a woman for commiting adultery. It begins when a partner breaks the covenant and commits adultery, that is when divorce actually happens before you see the physical seperation, the spirit is separated.

They are people who are living in miserable, life threatening relationships which they are committed to keep in any circumstances and still think they are protecting marriages because they heard that God hates divorce but that is not the only verse about marriage. Why do you call it a marriage when no money was paid to your inlaws. How can it be a marriage when your in-laws have not blessed your institution. Wedding is not about the fancy functions, dressings or food shared together, its only about pronouncing the word that May God join what has been joined culturally so that no man puts apart.  The moment God begins to heal the marriages, he also begins to heal the nation. Nations are only altered from here, when our unions are healed then our nation is healed. Lets pray, for the enemy will come out to fight against this word and make things worse for our marriage.

If we agree by our own culture that paying for a woman is mandatory then when you live with her outside paying lobola that union is not marriage. Wedding is not about the fancy functions, dressings or food shared together, its only about pronouncing the word that May God join what has been joined culturally so that no man puts apart.  The moment God begins to heal the marriages, he also begins to heal the nation. Nations are only altered from here, when our unions are healed then our nation is healed. Lets pray, for the enemy will come out to fight against this word and make things worse for our marriage.
