God revealed my wife's infidelity to me - Pastor tells court

A pastor with a Pentecostal church in Bulawayo claims that he received a revelation from God of his wife's infidelity saying she cheated on him with a workmate.

Henry Mwadira aged 47 of Amazing Grace Ministries narrated his ordeal at the civil court.

His wife is Nestai Venna Mwadira (48).

Nestai, a lecturer at Bulawayo Polytechnic, was seeking a restraining order against her hubby.

She claimed that her husband was physically, verbally and emotionally abusing her while accusing her of being promiscuous.
God revealed my wife's infidelity to me - Pastor tells court
"I am a female adult aged 48 and employed by the ministry of Higher and Tertiary Education as a lecturer at Bulawayo Polytechnic.

"I know the respondent Henry Mwadira not only in connection with this case, but we have been legally married for the past 25 years.

"I am however seeking a protection order against him as he is always verbally, physically and emotionally abusing me while levelling allegations of promiscuity against me.

"I deserted our matrimonial home on 31 December 2015 after he threatened me with death and had to seek refuge at my parents place.

"At first the responded told me that he had a dream where he saw me having a relationship with a workmate. The respondent took my cellphone and came across some chats and up to now he is still in possession of my cell phone. A family meeting was held to resolve our differences and during that meeting I apologised but the respondent is still angry with me.

"So I am basically asking for the court's intervention since our misunderstandings are taking too long to be resolved,".

In response, Henry said "I am a pastor together with my wife at Amazing Grace ministries and I am embarrassed to be in court. It is not true that I am physically abused her. The last time I beat her was 10 years ago. On allegations of insult, yes I did it out of anger.

"I swear to God that it was after I found some chats with her boyfriend who is also a lecturer at Bulawayo Polytechnic.

"I have some proof of that. They were exchanging love messages taking about intimate things.

"Prior to that God had shown me that she was in a relationship with a workmate.

The problem I had with my wife is promiscuity and the reason I took her phone is that I had been waiting for a moment like this so that I can justify my actions".
