Legends Habits: The Three Habits Of Greatness.

I believe that all habits can only be compressed into three areas. These three areas are sources of powerful habits.  If you can learn these three step or habits, then they will do just one thing: impregnate your subconscious mind with the seed of greatness.

This mind is responsible to form new habits. It makes all your repeated acts habitual by making it automatic. Your main duty in the process to form new habit is to repeatedly sow your seed in the soil of your habit mind. When the idea is accepted by your habit mind, the repetition becomes automatic so that your job is carried out without you consciously thinking of it. After planting the seed word in the soil of your habit mind, it germinates automatically using the help of God without any further conscious effort from you. Your ability to form new habit depends therefore on being careful to sow the right seed in your habit mind, and your capacity to wait patiently with determination, endurance and diligence.

Psalm 119:11 Your word I have hidden in my heart, That I might not sin against You!

METHODS 1: Use of Your Mouth
This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth… Joshua 1:8
The first action God impress on Joshua is the use of mouth. The highest quality of man is his ability to speak. The word ‘man’ in Genesis means ‘a talker.’ God created human beings different from animals by giving them the ability to talk. That shows the value God places on the use of your mouth, your tongue or your lip. The words that you speak often and repeatedly will surely manifest in your life or situation. You know how God calls things that are not into physical existence through the word. Jesus says you will get whatever you“say.” Mark 11:23. So you have heard of confession, affirmations, and professions.
… For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, 'Be removed and be cast into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says…
The Bible says:
You will also declare a thing, and it will be established for you; So light will shine on your ways… Job 22:28
Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers. Ephesians 4:29
You are sure your habit mind is listening any time you talk. When you give it words that build up others, you are in effect building yourself up.

Examples of Words of Affirmation or Confession:
  • When in need: “My God shall supply all my needs.” Philippians 4:19
  • To Create Wealth: “I am made rich in Jesus Christ” 2 Corinthians 8:9, “I have always sufficiency in everything”2 Corinthians 9:8
  • To Create Health: “With his stripes I am healed” Isaiah 53:5
  • When you are weak: “I am strong” Joel 3:10 “The Lord is the strength of my life.” Psalms 27:1
  • To deal with Challenge: “I abound unto every good work.” 2 Corinthians 9:8
METHOD 2: Thinking or Meditation on the Word
… you shall meditate in it day and night, which you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. Joshua 1:8
You can form new habit with your thinking.
"Then He said to me, "Son of man, have you seen what the elders of the house of Israel do in the dark, every man in the room of his idols? For they say, 'The LORD does not see us, the LORD has forsaken the land… Ezekiel 8:12
This means you have a room of his idols, chamber of imagery (ASV), room of pictured images (BBE), and room of pictures (RSV). In the room of pictures, it is what you see that you get in life. You become what you behold either good or evil.
But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord… 2 Corinthians 3:18
You are changed to the images and pictures that you behold. You are changed to the image you see. Hebrews 12:2 says, “Looking unto Jesus…” You are to keep looking unto Jesus... so as to be of course more like Him.

METHOD 3: Your Deeds or Actions
… then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. Joshua 1:8
You form new habit through action. When you repeat the same action as a duty or routine, it becomes a habit. If you want to be rich, start by acting rich. If you want to prosper, start now by acting as someone very prosperous. The trick here is simple. Your habit mind does not know you are acting a play. It faithfully carries out the order sent to it by your repeated play-acting.
The former account I made … of all that Jesus began both to do and teach… Acts1.1
Forming a new habit becomes really simple when you master the law of habits. You can then work using the same law to bring about your desire with the best result.

Forming a new habit.
Forming new habits breaks down to making the subconscious mind accept the thought or suggestion of the new habit.

How you do that depends on you. It depends on what you believe:
  • If you are the imaginative type, like most melancholies, then you can use your imagination. Your subconscious mind is influenced by images. Form the image of who you want to be and how you want your situation to become.
  • If you are a powerful talker, like most sanguine, then use your mouth. You prefer confession or affirmation? – Then form a suggestion in words and repeat it until it is accepted by your habit mind. Take your affirmations from the Bible. Make them positive and personal.
  • If you are the practical type, like the cholerics, go straight into action and act out the habit! That means living now the life you are praying for.
