Is Google From The Devil: Coach Tarie Takes Up Blogging.

Who is speaking to this generation more, who is being heard, whose opinion matters to the younger generation of today, has the church lost the NARRATIVES of today? What is the destiny of this generation? Let's look at these questions if your desire is to see, The Kingdoms of the world become the Kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ (Rev 11:15)
We are living in the post information age, we are in what many are calling the communication age, and in the communication age, speaking to a telegraphic generation. The only way to speak to it is to overtake it and take hold of the narrative of the day and use it to take people back to the knowledge that God gave through the message and mission of his Messiah-THE TRUTH - Coach Tarie
What is a TELEGRAPHIC generation? It is a generation that wants all the information on a screen, be it of a phone, I Pad, tablet, laptop, TV or Big Screen. What then is a NARRATIVE, it is the space that everyone goes to in order to get a narration, interpretation and a context for meaning in life. It is the space that determines how people will view life, what their standards will be and how in the end they will live.

History has to repeat itself if there is going to be hope for this generation. In the 15th Century Johannes Gutenberg invented the printing press and the first book that was published and printed more than every other was the bible. He made the bible the narrative of the day and set the world for the Reformation. Centuries later in the 18th Century in the time of Jonathan Edwards, the pulpit became the narrative and people would come from all over and hear the preaching of the word. Life and meaning was drawn from the pulpit. Years later with the introduction of motion picture the pulpit lost its influence and everyone was now going to watch films on projectors then TVs, Movie Houses. Since the introduction of motion pictures the Church has never taken hold of the narrative of the day, it has been following from miles behind.

We are in the generation of the Internet and Google and Google has taken the narrative. If anyone want to know anything they don't go to the bible or ask the Pastor, they ‘Google’. Google brings out information that has been uploaded, but how much of the Life Changing Truth of the Kingdom has been uploaded. It is from this understanding that I decided to take up blogging. As I blog I know I will add a bit of the truth on the Narative of the day. It has taken me a long time to give it a try but after being inspired by seeing Oudney. N. Patsika doing it and also reading an article by Professor Aurthur Mutambara I have stepped out of the comfort zone.

We have to speak to our generation and be relevant. In 2006 The Lord Jesus Himself came in my room as I was sleeping and after covering my head with the blankets as I could not directly look at Him, He said the following words in my mother tongue, "Ndakusimudza Church yangu sebhazi renge richifamba munzira rotanga kufamba pamusoro pezvikomo." This is translated to say, "I am taking my Church, like a bus that has been traveling on roads to begin to move on top of mountains". It took me years to understand this but the one who had started it began to help me understand that, for the Kingdom to advance and make impact in all generations the Church had to occupy the spaces that influence behavior and culture of nations. The word calls these spaces mountains. Isaiah prophecies saying,

And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the Lord's house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it. And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem. (Isaiah 2: 2-3)

The Kingdom of The Lord has to be established on the top of all mountains which I have understood to be the 7 mountains that influence culture of nations which are POLITICS, MEDIA, RELIGION, ARTS, BUSINESS, EDUCATION, FAMILY as confirmed by many whom The Lord is speaking to about this, across the globe like one of our Zimbabwean Fathers Apostle Alexander Chisango.

In war dynamics it is crucial to occupy the media, publishing and broadcasting services to gain ground in the minds of the people, and in this war the Church has to occupy this space produce movies, publish news and create applications and takeover this narrative. Blogging is one of the fastest growing narratives and the writing and reading of books is faraway from this telegraphic generation. If we can daily appear on their screens wherever they are through blogs that are relevant we will make real impact. Not only should we be posting sermons and teachings but interpreting the News and Events and giving the Kingdom perspective of what is happening around. The Truth has to penetrate the interpretation of events and news and many of the young generation’s gifted people who think their gifts and skills are not relevant in the advancing of the Kingdom will find worthy causes of using the 21st century narrative of the screen. This social media narrative is a Pandora's Box that is left open and one who occupies it has the power to determine the destiny of a generation.

Napoleon Bonaparte put it this way, "The objective of war is victory, the objective of victory is OCCUPATION" and our Lord got us the victory and left us an instruction saying "Occupy till I come" (Luke 19: 13)
