Footprints Of A Legend: Apostle Pride Sibiya - The Three (3) Catalysts Of His Ministry. (Part 2)

One of the most important keys to understanding the way that Glory Ministries 'Operates and Functions' is to know the three (3) catalysts that drives both Apostle Sibiya and Glory Ministries

I had the privileged to sit down with him, a few years ago, and understand how he defines himself and his calling. I think the conversation that I had with him those years still define him.

The Three (3) Catalysts Of His Ministry.
This means these three catalysts are a must 'Know' and 'Read' for anyone who want to understand Apostle Sibiya and his ministry. These three catalysts are referred to as 'The Call, The Passion and The Way.

These three catalysts simply try to explain that Apostle Sibiya values his 'Calling: Which came through a night vision.' He has 'A Passion: to see the manifest Glory of God of earth and also is passionate about seeing the 'Body Of Christ' prepare the church for the second coming of Jesus Christ. He will execute his ministry through, The Way: ministering the gospel of "Jesus Christ" to the youths. Read and be enlightened about Apostle Sibiya as he gets ready to celebrate '20' years of ministry and the Legends. This will be done through Tiyambuke International Christian Convention (TICC) dubbed 'The Footprints Of The Legends'

 1. The Call: It is important to understand that the calling that is upon Apostle Sibiya is not only genuine, but also God given. The call upon Apostle Sibiya came in a night vision when God commissioned him as an Apostle.

Acts13.2 ... As they ministered to the Lord and fasted, the Holy Spirit said, Now separate to Me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.
After receiving the call in a night vision, he waited for two years for God to fully confirm what had been spoken to him. Apostle Pride Sibiya brings the details of this call in the preface of his book “His Glory Our Vision”. He says:
Apostle Anna Tendayi Sibiya

Then came the early hours of the seventh of February. In the night vision I was walking and was suddenly approached by a very bright light which forced me to fall to the ground. As I struggled to rise I saw a human figure standing in the air. He wore a purely white robe and had a fire blazing around him though he was not burning. He also had a light that permeated him such that it was hard for one to really see through to his face. As I knelt He spoke to me and said that I should do what He did. I didn’t understand this and up until now, though I now know some things, I am still in the journey to fully understand what He meant by, “What I did.” He told me to hold His hands and when I tried, they were hot. I managed to continue holding on to His blood-flowing, pierced palms, as He strengthened me and in a few moments left. As I travelled home, in the vision, I saw my youth head evangelist, in the church I attended then, coming to our place and knocking on my bedroom door. I was suddenly awakened by a knock on my door and realized it was the same evangelist by my door and I told him about my experience and how I saw him coming to our place. This inaugural meeting with Jesus deeply touched my life and I knew from here onwards that I had to fully commit my life to Him and His service so that I could do “what he did,” no matter what that meant. It was one of the most dramatic turning points of my life. [Extracted from His Glory, our Vision by Apostle Pride Sibiya]
As a ministry we hold with high regard the calling of God that is upon Apostle Pride Sibiya.

2. The Passion: The passion that is upon Apostle Sibiya is to see all nations bow before the manifest Glory of God and to prepare the church for the second coming of Jesus Christ.
Habakkuk 2:14 ... For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea…
The word “eschatology” literally means “the study of last things. It is the study of what the Bible says is going to happen in the end times. A key verse on Eschatology is Titus 2:13: … looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ… Apostle Sibiya believes that we are in the last days and we are called to prepare the church for the coming of Jesus Christ.

The Second Coming of Christ: Apostle Sibiya believes that Jesus is coming in an event called the Second Coming of Christ and Paul highlights this in
1 Thessalonians4:16-18 … the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. Therefore comfort one another with these words…
He believes in and preaches the second coming of Christ. The zeal that consumes Apostle Sibiya is the Glory of God on earth!
John 2:17 … Then His disciples remembered that it was written, "Zeal for Your house has eaten Me up…
3. The Way:  Apostle Sibiya has a passion for the youths. e are a “youth equipping ministry”: As a result he believes in equipping (katartismos) and empowering (endunamoo) young people to serve their generation so that they can actively participate in the transformation of the Nations through the Word of God.

The starting point or reaching the nations according to Apostle Sibiya is through the preaching to all people groups especially the young. This means that everything that Apostle Sibiya does both as an Apostle and also as a ministry focuses on the youths...

Why focus on a particular group? The work of ministry is compared to fishing. Jesus says
…Follow Me, and I will make you become fishers of men… Mark 1:17.
The nets represent the ministry and mending the nets represent the actual process of equipping for ministry. Apostle Sibiya believes in focusing on the young generation (as fishers of the young men and women within our generation.) 'The past generation served its generation and if we rightfully serve ours we will be an inspiration to the next generation. says Apostle Sibiya. Apostle Sibiya goes on to say: 'We are to focus on our young generation because if we do not, no one will focus on it. The bible of David says:
…David, after he had in his own generation served the counsel of God, fell asleep, and was laid unto his fathers, and saw corruption… Acts 13:3

David served his generation' says Apostle Sibiya 'So we as Glory Ministries' were called in the last generation to serve our generation and these are the youths.
