Daily bread: It is not by the sword Scripture: 1.Samuel.17:38 [NKJV]

46 This day the LORD will deliver you into my hand, and I will strike you and take your head from you. And this day I will give the carcasses of the camp of the Philistines to the birds of the air and the wild beasts of the earth, that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel. 47 Then all this assembly shall know that the LORD does not save with sword and spear; for the battle is the LORD’s, and He will give you into our hands.”

Good morning the flock of Jesus Christ!

Mangwanani vanhu vaMwari!
Hareruya vanhu vaMwari!
Mwana wemuporofita ita Aaaamen anobhowa satan nemadhimoni ake!

David was one of Jesse’s three sons whose job was to shepherd sheep while his brothers went to war fighting for Israel. The Israelites fought with the Philistines for 40days but the battle was in the hands of Goliath who scared the Israelites by word of mouth. The same applies in our lives today, our enemies only speak words but our God is greater than these enemies. When David was sent with food to his brothers he was surprised to find no battle taking place except the pompous Goliath who was shouting at the Israelites and challenging them.

That did not auger well with David and he queried for the reward should he defeat and kill that Philistine Goliath. He was told several benefits and among them were exemption from paying taxes and a woman from the king’s family. That means when you overcome the devil today and receive deliverance it means several benefits come your way including your family and your generation.

Am I talking to somebody here?

David was offered an armour to protect him against Goliath but he refused it because he could not fit in. Many people will try to fit into your life when you are about to receive your breakthrough in order to be associated with your success but we are saying be like Goliath and stand by the Lord only.

Just as David spoke of cutting off Goliath’s head yet he did not have a knife but sling, you also need to speak a word to what you want in life and it will be done because there is power in confession. It looked like a joke because David was a mere shepherd but they were surprised when he brought Goliath down and people today will be surprised by the breakthrough in your life because people used to despise and belittle you.

Goliath’s head was so big that David could not miss it just like your problem in life, it is big in order for everyone else to see it such that when breakthrough comes your way everyone will also notice it. The problems you are facing in life today are meant to lift you up as the Lord brings them down. The Philistines got scattered in all directions when Goliath was defeated just as all problems, be it sickness, poverty, barrenness or anti-marriage will flee away when deliverance comes your way. It is the time to declare to the devil that enough is enough and his time is over in Jesus name.

Are you here somebody?

Manna had the colour of milk and honey but it was neither the two. God gave you a simple job or a poor husband and you thought that was the best but today we are saying the best is yet to come because of your presence in the hands of God. Do not be satisfied with your situation today because our Mighty God is able to change that situation today.

Your life is like the parable of a rubbish pit into which people threw all their trash as they do in your life because of your miserable state today. But in the process of throwing their trash, a mango tree grew from it and the father of the family protected it into an orchard. Your life will change today, from a miserable one like the trash pit into a blessed one like the protected mango tree. You are protected today against poverty, sickness, witchcraft or any afflictions like the mango tree. Through deliverance you will move from grass to grace.

You deserve the best the world has to offer because you are a child of God.

Say,
“Thank you Jesus Christ for fighting all my battles!
Thank you for the GOOD things surrounding my life and the BEST that is yet to come!
Thank you Jesus Christ for adding value to my life, family and children!
Thank you for opening my mind during this Examinations time for academic excellence!
I am crossing over during this month of Turn-around!
Thank you Lord Almighty for everything that I am!”

Glory be to God! Mbiri kunaJesu!
