Lack of knowledge in God’s children is the greatest advantage for the devil. For the Bible says, “My people perish from a lack of knowledge”. Hosea 4: 6 (KJV). When Jesus had gone forty days in the desert fasting and praying. Jesus was hungry and at a weak point. One translation says, “he was faint with hunger “. The devil, the tempter came to him. The question I put to you dear friends is this, when does the devil tempts you the most? It is at your weakest moment, it is at your weakest point.
How did Jesus handle this moment? He brought God into it. He quoted the Bible, God’s word. Each time the devil tried to trap Jesus, Jesus would respond, ”It is written!” Or, “Kwakanyorwa kuchinzi!” When the devil tries to attack you, he does so at your weakest point, your weakest moment. Do what Jesus did, bring God into it. Know your Bible, quote it to him, say, ”It is written!”
Many people are also robbed of blessings that the Bible tells us are ours in Christ Jesus. But because we don’t know it, does not mean they are not available.
The greatest of human wisdom often leads to spiritual blindness. Because human wisdom is based on facts, so when equipped with it they tend to disregard spiritual wisdom that is based on belief and God’s knowledge. They claim, facts are tangible because they are based on empirical evidence but little do they know that there is also empirical evidence in God’s knowledge through His miracles.
True wisdom required to face the world’s challenges comes from the knowledgeable Almighty God. We cannot use common solutions to solve uncommon problems. The story of Naaman is another good example. Neither can we mislead the world into believing that mantles are tools for false prophets or Satanism - as it is alleged by some misguided elements of the society. They do so just because some false prophets claim to use them. Remember, all cars are vehicles but not all vehicles are cars. I believe my teaching will dispel such ignorance by bringing light into the subject - light that pushes away darkness.
A mantle is God’s instrument in your hands. It is a physical medium meant to strengthen one’s faith in spiritual matters that involve healing, blessing and deliverance. A mantle is used to uplift one’s faith from the bed of hopelessness towards their desired goal. For as long you have faith in God’s mantles, you bring the power of God on the scene. He will meet you at your point of need. God uses anything to express Himself.

In the Bible He used different mediums such as mud, saliva or even sound or human voices. Our God often uses foolish things to discredit the wise or ignorance to override the knowledgeable. In Numbers.17:1-8, Aaron’s staff sprouted, budded, blossomed and produced almonds but in very unfavourable conditions. God used stars to strengthen Abraham’s faith to have children (Genesis.22:17-18). In Matthew 17:24-27, talks about Peter and Jesus in Capernaum. They were asked to pay their tributes by the tribute collectors. However, both had no money such that Jesus sent Peter to the sea and throw a hook in the waters. The first fish that came out would have money in its mouth and so was it.
Ancient Prophets in the Bible had different mantles which they used. One popular example is that of Moses who used his stick in Genesis to separate the water of the Red Sea when the Israelites were escaping the unfair rule of the Egyptians. (Exodus 14:21). PHD Ministries has many different mantles that one can use to protect themselves from the attacks of the devil due to his restlessness and will use any chance he gets to destroy God’s people, for it is his mission to kill, steal and destroy (John 10:10).
Some biblical examples of mantle usage
Acts.19:11-12, “God did extraordinary miracles through Paul, so that even handkerchiefs and aprons that had touched him were taken to the sick, and their illnesses were cured and the evil spirits left them.” Also, 2Kings.5:14 talks about Namaan who was instructed by God’s Prophet to go and dip himself in the ‘dirty’ waters of Jordan seven times. In John.9:6-7, we read about Jesus who healed a blind man by using mud made from the soil mixed with His saliva. Peter used his shadow to heal the sick and deliver the tormented (Acts.5:15-16). Even 2Kings.6:1-7 says that Elisha made an iron axe head to float after throwing a stick into the water.

What is anointing oil?
Anointing oil is a physical symbolism of God's healing and deliverance power. Anointing oil is a point of contact for use in spiritual warfare and it is a symbol of the Holy Spirit. It protects from deadly dangers and traps, then it does the cleansing and purification. It is the anointing of our Lord Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit which is a powerful tool during spiritual warfare. The anointing oil destroys or breaks the bondage, burden and oppression caused by the devil because the enemy’s yoke connects, bonds and binds you with sin, poverty, disease and limitation. The anointing oil therefore breaks all the yokes the devil is using to steal the promise God made to us, that of having dominion over all earth and being seated in the heavenly places.
